Agenda Reminders
- Students are expected to write something in their agendas each day for each subject.
- Parents should check agendas at least once a week.
- Check the "Organizational Marks" chart and "Discipline Chart" to monitor your child's behavior and organization
Homework Policy
- 6th grade homework policy can be found on page 4 of the agenda.
- Assignments may be accepted for three days with ten points off per day.
- Assignments may not be accepted on or after the fourth day.
- Late homework is NOT accepted.
- It is the student's responsibility to speak with the teacher about missing work/homework.
Fall VIP Volunteers Needed
VIPs (Very Important Parent) volunteer to come in once or twice a week to make copies for our teachers. If you are new to the VIP program, you will be trained on the copy machines. Please click on the Sign Up Genius link on the left to volunteer to be a VIP .

LANGUAGE ARTS
- IXL E. 1-5 due Friday, 9/13
- SSR #2 due Friday, 9/13
- We will begin reading Esperanza Rising.
MATH
We will go over the GCF/LCM & Fraction Division Test and begin ratios and rates. The ratios, rates, and tables quiz will be the following Monday, 9/16.
SCIENCE
We will continue our unit on Astronomy 1. Our unit test will be on September 26th.
SOCIAL STUDIES
We will begin our unit on Europe's Geography. Our test will be on September 17th.
